    Wellness Program

    The CommonBond wellness program provides innovative and interactive instructions on health, fitness, and nutrition, and encourages personal growth and self-improvement. This program is available to all regular, full-time employees on their first day of employment. Available tools include health assessments, biometric screening, online and telephonic health coaches, wellness days and wellness challenges. Program incentives are tied to the company HSA contribution.

    Health

    Medical
    Your health is important to us and as part of our commitment to your health, CommonBond Communities pays 100% of the premium for full-time employee coverage following 30 days of employment. CommonBond also contributes towards the premiums for dependent and spouse coverage; an additional cost to the employee is associated with spouse, dependent and domestic partner coverage.

    The full benefits package provides a High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP) through Medica that is coupled with a Health Savings Account (HSA) through Wells Fargo. Participants may choose an open access network of providers or a larger network of providers for a slightly higher premium that they would contribute.

    CommonBond is committed to providing employees with tools to help them make health conscious choices. All employees participating in the medical plan will have the option of participating in a confidential Health Assessment that will assist employees in evaluating their current risks and ongoing health goals. CommonBond will make a monetary contribution into participating employee’s HSA accounts each plan year.

    Health Savings Account (HSA)
    The HSA, in conjunction with a compatible high deductible health plan (HDHP), provides an opportunity to set aside money on a pre-tax basis in a tax-sheltered trust account. Contributions may be made through regular pre-tax payroll deductions, lump sum pre-tax deductions, or after-tax contributions. Employees pay a minimal administrative fee to maintain an account. In addition, CommonBond will contribute money annually based on employee participation and medical enrollment.

    Dental
    CommonBond offers eligible employees a preferred dentist program administered by MetLife. For employees who elect coverage, the company covers 100% of the premium for employee only; coverage is available for spouses, dependents and domestic partners at an additional cost to the employee. Employees may elect an in-network dentist to maximize savings or utilize out-of-network services.

    Flexible Spending Account (FSA) – Healthcare
    For eligible employees requiring out-of-pocket health care and/or dental expense, you can enroll in an FSA. This account allows you to make pre-tax contributions to pay for eligible out-of-pocket health care expenses. Employees pay a minimal administrative fee to maintain an account.

    Disability
    CommonBond offers coverage that will replace a certain percentage of your basic weekly earnings in the event that a qualifying disability occurs. Short-Term and Long-Term coverage is available.


    Time Off

    Personal Time Off
    Paid Time Off (PTO) allows the opportunity for employees to balance their work and personal life. PTO can be used for vacations, holidays, illness and personal days – however the time best fits your needs. First year employees accrue 5.85 hours of PTO per pay period, a total of 19 days per year. PTO accrual increases in your fourth year of employment and again in your tenth and twentieth years.

    Your Future

    401(k) Plan
    The CommonBond 401(k) plan makes it easy for employees to build up retirement savings. For every dollar you deposit, up to 6% of your pay, CommonBond matches 50%. Eligible employees may participate on the first day of the first month following six months of service.

    Educational Opportunities
    Professional development opportunities including course work, certification and association memberships may be available based on position, department and the budget year. CommonBond also reimburses eligible employees for position related licensing.


    Your Family

    Life Insurance
    Eligible employees are automatically enrolled in basic life insurance. Additional life insurance is available for the employee, spouse/domestic partner and dependents.

    Flexible Spending Account (FSA) – Dependent Care Plan
    For eligible employees with qualifying childcare and/or dependent care services, you can enroll in the day care FSA. This account allows you to make pre-tax contributions to pay for eligible child and dependent care expenses.

    Credit Union Membership
    Employees and their families have the opportunity to become members at Highway Federal Credit Union.
