    Gifts at a Glance

    $25 will transport a senior to and from a medical appointment.

    $50 will provide one year of school supplies for a child.

    Help Build Community Libraries!

    “Acquiring literacy is an empowering process, enabling millions to enjoy access to knowledge and information which broadens horizons, increases opportunities and creates alternatives for building a better life.” Kofi Anan

    One of CommonBond’s main iniatives this year is to increase literacy resources for residents. To support this effort we are collecting books to build and expand libraries for residents. Please donate new books and help our Advantage Centers help young residents access the power of reading. In particular, we are looking for:

    • Books that appeal to 5-7 grade African-American boys
    • Books to use with teen book clubs (8 to 10 copies)
