As a special tribute, CommonBond is dedicating this playground to Stacey Morgan, a CommonBond social worker at Westminster who died suddenly on September 17, 2009. By building a new playground for the children of Westminster Place, we are creating healthier, happier children and a stronger neighborhood. What a Great Day! Thank You!
Thank you to everyone who transformed an empty lot into a whole lot of fun! Over 282 KaBOOM!, The Home Depot, CommonBond staff, volunteers and Westminster Place residents built a playground in a day!
We Still Need Help!
The Home Depot donated most of the playground but CommonBond needs to raise $15,000 for this community-building event. Follow the links below to make a general playground donation or a donation in Stacey’s memory, and help us create safe places for kids to play for years to come.
This playground build demonstrates CommonBond’s commitment to building stable homes, strong futures and vibrant communities. We are deeply grateful to The Home Depot and KaBOOM! for helping us meet our mission.
