It was an afternoon of celebration as city, community, and project leaders joined CommonBond and NeighborWorks executives at the Grand Opening of Bii Di Gain Dash Anwebi - an American Indian affordable living residence for seniors in Minneapolis. In a letter addressing the significance of the event, U.S. Senator Al Franken wrote, "As the largest provider of affordable housing in the Upper Midwest, CommonBond gives its residents the opportunity for a better quality of life."

In addition to the Grand Opening, CommonBond was presented with its official charter from NeighborWorks.NeighborWorks is a national network of 240 independent, community-based nonprofit organizations serving more than 4,500 communities nationwide. it was another milestone for CommonBond as we strive to fulfill the affordable housing needs of the region we serve.
