CommonBond Builds Stable Homes
CommonBond homes are a stabilizing force so that hard working people can break the cycle of poverty, become financially secure and live independently longer. More than 40,000 people have lived in a CommonBond home.
“The day we moved into our new apartment home it was 60 degrees and the sun was shining. It was a good sign, welcoming us to our new home. Home is where we are, we don’t worry about material things. If we go to a place and we are comfortable – that is the place we call home.” |

CommonBond Builds Strong Futures
CommonBond homes provide life-enhancing Advantage Service for residents to support their personal and professional success. Through these services, adults get and keep living wage jobs, families move to market-rate housing or homeownership and children succeed in school, get good grades and graduate. We also help seniors and people with disabilities and other barriers remain independent longer.
“My boys would say, ‘Mom, do you think if we pray hard enough and we talk to God we will be able to move into a home faster?’ For months my boys prayed every day for a house. When we got accepted to live at a CommonBond community in Plymouth, Minnesota, our prayers were answered.”

“I wanted to live close to my family but didn’t want them to feel responsible for me. I am extremely fortunate to have found…such a beautiful home.” | |
