Customized Services Coordination
CommonBond offers custom services coordination for family, senior, and special needs properties. Our Program and Services Coordinators are skilled at helping individual residents connect with community resources and groups of residents to form effective resident associations. CommonBond's resident services provide after-school enrichment for children, employment preparation and placement for working age adults, and independent living services for seniors. In addition, Program Coordinators can work with volunteers and community-based agencies to create meaningful learning opportunities including English Language Literacy, health and wellness services, and computer skills for your residents.
Award Winning Resident Services Consultation
If you are looking to reduce unit turnover rates, vandalism and crime due to unstructured free time, reduce your dependence on Section 8 subsidies, affiliate with HUD's Neighborhood Networks program, or become an active partner in the solution to issues in your neighborhood, CommonBond's Advantage Center is for you. Our approach to community revitalization is highly adaptable to local conditions whether you are in an urban, suburban, or rural area. The Advantage Center training program offers everything you need to get started. We offer a variety of customized training services and tools that can be mixed, matched, and shaped by you to meet your organization's service goals.
Organizational Development Consultation
Experienced CommonBond staff are available to spend time in your community. We will help you inform your Board of Directors, local political leaders, founders, and prospective human service agency partners about the effectiveness of an investment in housing-based human services. After meeting with leaders in your community, we will tour your housing and offer real-time assessments about the organizational, social, financial, and physical opportunities and challenges of an Advantage Center in that location.
Do-it-yourself: Own the Advantage Center Operations Manual
We can provide you with a copy of our Advantage Center Operations Manual. The manual is a continuously improved product developed over ten years and contains field-tested principles, programs, processes, and physical design guidelines.
Visit the Advantage Center Staff at Work
See for yourself how well this Advantage Center model works by visiting us. Our field experts will provide you and your staff with an Advantage Center orientation. As part of the training you will visit several different Advantage Centers. Along the way you will talk with Program Directors, front-line staff, and residents who are benefiting from programs like those you want to offer and get our best answers to your questions about how to do housing-based services with excellence.
