Health Care Services

CommonBond Advantage Services coordinators have a unique relationship with health care providers that allow residents to access both wellness and prevention services and home care more readily. Working with home care agencies, we coordinate quality health care services designed specifically for community needs.

Regularly scheduled wellness and prevention services are offered onsite. Services include health promotion and foot care clinics, flu shots and wellness discussion circles.

Individual Services

One-on-one counseling is offered to support residents' success. Staff are licensed social workers who can explore options and provide information to link residents to community agencies that provide services.

Computer Classes

Advantage Center computer classes help residents increase their knowledge and skills, and provide the opportunity to learn beginning computer skills, accessing the Internet, e-mailing, desktop publishing, creating calendars, newsletters and greeting cards and much more.

Resident Association

Advantage Services Coordinators work with residents and the community to develop positive and successful approaches to community issues. One way they do this is by helping start and maintain a Resident Association which:

• Increases resident participation in the community
• Plans community events and celebrations
• Improves communication among residents, staff, and community boards
• Helps residents build leadership skills
